4) Make a Body Par Spinner. Take turns spinning it. Use the body part it lands on.


5) Copy these and cut them apart to make puzzles for the children.

6) Make a body hand puppet. Explain to the children that our bodies house our spirit. Our spirit is very, very special so we need to take good care of our bodies.

9) Hand out PRE-CUT paper doll chains to the children and let them color them. It would be too much trouble to cut in class and the children are not old enough to do it themselves.

10) Make finger puppets and talk about how these characters are all different ages. Do you think taking care of our bodies now will help us when we are older?

11) Ahead of time make puppets for the children. Have them put the puppets on their hands and ask them if something is good or bad for their body. If it is good have them have their puppet nod their heads. If it is bad have them move their hand back and forth to shake the head no.

12) Little kids love to wear ears that are not their own. Pull a string through each ear and hook them around their ears.  They will also love to hold up eyes and mouths. You could ask them to hold up the thing you are talking about. What do we use to listen to music? To see a rainbow? To sing a song?
